Physical recreation through games and sports like football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, handball and tennis has been an important part of the Institute since its inception. All boys & girls are exposed to various sports in first year itself through Inter-House Sports Competition, Inter-RIE Sports Meet (RISM) and Inter College Games (MDS University).

Presently, the Institute has some of the best facilities in a number of games and sports and has award proficiency in almost ten games. The tradition continues, as students of the Institute utilize the marvelous sports facilities to excel in games and sports.
